We live in an epidemic of stress. So many of us overwhelmed, burnt out, depleted and exhausted. As women, this hugely impacts our hormones, mental health and emotional wellbeing. Stress is the myth of normal. When we continue to live our lives in a state of fight or flight, we lose our balance. Women are cyclic, what I mean by that is our sex hormones change constantly throughout our menstrual cycle. And that’s ok. What’s not ok is that we don’t honour the fluctuations of the hormones. We live in a culture of ‘powering through’, with no real value for rest and how important is actually is for our bodies and minds. It’s important that we understand our bodies and what we’re being guided to do. When estrogen is dominant, we’re being called to ‘do’, to ‘give’, we’re in our power. When progesterone is dominant, we’re being called to rest. It’s time to begin to understand this, honour our hormones and stop trying to give 100% all of the time. Work with me to find your balance and reduce stress

We have four bodies; the physical body, emotional body, mental body and spiritual body. We need to look after all 4 otherwise we lose our balance.

You'll find me Monday and Wednesday evenings at Studio 52, Belfast for a Mellow + Mindful Practice from 7pm-8pm. Mellow + Mindful is a beautiful and deeply nurturing practice for all levels.
