Join Carla for celebration and ritual, marking Imbolc. Imbolc is 'St Brigids Day'.
Imbolc (also spelled Imbolg) is a pagan festival that marks the midpoint between the Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara). It’s traditionally celebrated around February 1–2 and is associated with the first subtle stirrings of spring—lengthening days, melting snow, and the return of life.
Translated, Imbolc means 'in the belly' - we're transitioning from Winter to Spring, but we're not quite there yet, we're still in the womb of Winter and it's important that we transition gently.
